The new Tesla Model 3 Performance recently debuted in China. The Model 3 Performance is also available in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN), which is no surprise since Giga Shanghai is Tesla’s main export hub.
Tesla China has already started promoting the new Model 3 Performance to customers. The Performance All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variants start at RMB 335,900. According to Tesla China, the new Model 3 Performance has a cruising range of 623 km based on the CLTC standard. It can run 0 to 100 km in 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 261 km/h.
Tesla China’s new Model 3 Performance package includes sports seats, 19-inch warp wheels, and Track Mode V3. For Chinese customers who order the new Model 3 Performance now, the estimated delivery date is Q3 2024.
The new Tesla Model 3 Performance also launched in Southeast Asian countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. It is also available in Australia and New Zealand.
Before TSLA’s Q1 2024 earnings call, the company launched the new Model 3 Performance in the United States. According to Tesla, the Performance variant has bespoke chassis hardware to improve stiffness and raise its performance baseline. The new Model 3 Performance’s 4th gen drive unit delivers +22% continuous power, +32% peak power, and +16% peak torque.
