Dezent Launch New RG Rim. Well Spoken

The latest wheel design from Dezent looks stunning thanks to its classic ‘Y’ spoke design and flawlessly machined face.

The latest rim from the highly respected wheel manufacturer contrasts a lustrous gloss black detail against the lacquered face to present a stunning OEM+ style design that will look at home on a wide range of 4 and 5 stud Jap, Euro and Tuner cars.

As well as a vast range of PCDs, automotive aesthetes can choose from either 16” or 17” in the popular 7.5” width, or an 18” rim in an 8” width.

Priced from just £96 + VAT for the 16” size, the RG proves that style actually can be bought – and for far less than you’d think, too!

Finichi Launch New FDTM Rim. An Instant Classic

The latest wheel from Finichi alloy wheels stable uses classic ‘80s split rim good looks to appeal to a massive range of marques.
The stunning pseudo-split rim wheel uses genuine split rim bolts, which can be easily removed to allow the wheel to be customised – and later in the year, Finichi will be releasing a series of custom bolt options with anodised finishes to enable owners to match or contrast with their paint finish.

The flawlessly finished multispoke will be available in two main sizes. A 7.5 x 17” in most popular 4 and stud Euro, VAG, Jap and Tuner fitments and an 8 x 18” which will be available in both 5 x100 and 5 x 112 PCDs.

Despite offering a sizeable dish, the inner spoke profile means that brake clearance is exceptional for this style of rim, allowing many big brake conversions to fit behind without the need for spacers.

Prices haven’t yet been announced, but will doubtless be much less than a full set of split-rims!

Cobra Suspension For Subaru WRX/ STi 08-on

With the new Impreza now starting to emerge from its manufacturer’s warranty, owners are getting the urge to make the odd improvement or two. With that in mind, many will be glad to learn of the Cobra Suspension kit for the hatchback version.

Upon its launch, every road tester loved the car, but slated the chassis. Addressing these points, the Cobra kit comes as the perfect rescue package to maintain the ride quality whilst massively improving the handling. Lowering the car by 30mm, the lower centre of gravity brings improved turn-in, pin-point accuracy and a real sense of fun, evocative of the much-loved original.

The heat-treated springs are powder coated for a long and durable life – even on the UK’s salted winter roads. Each spring is cold formed for accuracy before being heat treated for strength and durability. Finally, each and every spring is shot-peened to pre fatigue the spring and eliminate sagging. This lengthy production process explains Cobra’s confidence in their product and their 5 Year warranty.

So if you fancy the build quality of the new Impreza – but the fun and handling of the original, it looks like you can finally have your cake and eat it. The price is just £150 + VAT for the set of 4 springs.
